During early testing of the technology with fifty university students, one seventeen-year-old produced numbers so far ahead of the group that the team initially assumed a software fault. He lived minutes from a leading Premier League training ground, yet no scout had ever seen him. He went on to sign for a Premier League club and represent his country internationally, discovered entirely through a smartphone assessment rather than a traditional scouting network.
